Original Western Australian acts have just one more week to make their live showcase submissions, for a chance to perform live during the 2012 WAMi Festival. Acts interested in performing at one of the many live shows should get their submissions in before Friday 21 October.

The WAMi Festival is the annual week-long celebration of the thriving, original contemporary music industry in WA, and attracts over 25,000 people each year.

WAMi Festival includes a diverse range of shows at the official WAMi Festival venue, The Bakery, WAMi Awards and Closing Party, a variety of venues for the Northbridge Saturday Spectacular, plus many more outdoor shows and annual festival activities throughout the week.

Original WA acts of all ages and genres are encouraged to apply, with strictly limited opportunities for guest acts from outside WA.

Live performance submissions are being accepted electronically through Sonicbids or hard copy. All details are available at wam.asn.au/wamifestival - submissions close on Friday 21 October 2011. Please note that no deadline extensions will be given, and that performance & recording applications must be made separately. You do not need to be a WAM member to apply.

Submissions for 2012 Kiss My WAM CD/DVD inclusion will also be open Monday 7 November until Friday 16 December.
