QMusic today announced the finalists for the 2012 edition of the Queensland Music Awards, taking place on August 14th at the Old Museum in Brisbane. Alongside performances by Ball Park Music, Velociraptor, Ed Kuepper, The Art of Sleeping, Gentle Ben and His Sensitive Side and more, the awards will celebrate achievements by Queensland based artists twenty categories, including three "People's Choice" awards as sponsored by the Courier Mail (by the by, voting is open now; you can vote here).
