Canadian rock trio Danko Jones have about 16 years of experience under their belt and this song off their soon to be 6th record titled Rock and Roll is Black and Blue is testament to their ability to rock.

This track is a perfect example of to how to maintain that longevity within the competitive rock scene. Even though the structure is fairly stock standard verse/chorus/verse/chorus etc the key is to writing a good hooky chorus that you can sing along to. Jones and his cohorts nail it, and throw in a few chunky guitar riffs and a pounding kick drum to boot, all in a throbbing fast-paced 3 minutes and 15 seconds.
