Music Video of the Day: Hermitude feat. Yeo "Searchlight" (2015)

Filmed at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney, the brand new video for the Hermitude single “Searchlight” conveys the energy of their live show. One of our discoveries at The Great Escape earlier this year, Dublin buzz group Girl Band recently released an excellent video for their latest single "Paul". Taken from their soon-to-be-released debut album Holding Hands With Jamie, the video was directed by Bob Gallagher, who explains the idea behind the video after the jump.

Emma Pask Announces Album Launch Event for "Cosita Divina"

Discovered as a 16 year old by legendary Jazzman James Morrison, Emma Pask has performed all over the world, from Queen Elizabeth Hall in London with BBC Concert Orchestra, to China with the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, and a little more closer to home, gracing the stage at the Sydney Opera House with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. Having just celebrated 20 years of musical collaborations with Morrison, Pask is set to release her fifth studio album, Cosita Divina this year on Friday September 25 at Art and About Sydney.

Sydney's North Arm have today announced the release of the second single ‘The​ Boys’​from their forthcoming debut self titled album. This track is a fast-paced tribute to the summers of the late 90s and is reminiscent of the soundtracks for cult classics Cruel Intentions and 10 Things I Hate About You. Music Video of the Day: Airling "Stallin'" (2015)

Our music video of the day belongs to Brisbane artist Airling, who has just released a clip for her single "Stallin'", a track which will see her heading out on the road this October with her three-piece band and LANKS. Directed by Matisse Forman of Forman Film, the video lets the suave moves of Nacho Pop do the walking and Airling's lips do the talking. It's a pretty fun viewing, and an even better song. Soulful, moody and hypnotic, it's without question some of the acclaimed artist's finest work to date, with stellar vocal work and a killer vibe. Watch it below:
