Internationally renowned artist José González has contributed a beautiful original track ‘Far Away’ to Rockstar Games’ latest smash Red Dead Redemption. You can watch González perform the track live from Rockstar Games’ New York rooftop here:

‘Far Away’ is perfectly suited to Red Dead Redemption, set in early 1900’s America, at the end of the cowboy era. The track is first heard when John Marston reaches Mexico, riding horseback along a dusty trail between cascading red cliffs and the San Luis River; definitely one of Red Dead Redemption’s most visually and sonically memorable moments.
