Party with the AU: Li'l Darlin Re-Launch Party - Surry Hills (Sydney)

Last week, Li’l Darlin Surry Hills opened its doors to select Media and VIP to their new-look relaunch. This relaunch showcased the very best that Li’l Darlin Surry Hills had to offer.

The cocktail connoisseurs were pumping out two of their signature cocktails which included their Smashin Passion (rum, amaretto, passionfruit pulp and lemon juice) as well as their amazingly hard-to-resist White Chocolate Passionfruit Martini (the white choc liqueur, cake infused vodka and passionfruit complement each other magnificently). These cocktails were unique, fun and absolutely delicious. Newest additions to their cocktail collection include the Kraken and the Negroni Twist.

Guests were offered to try some of the new offerings added onto their already extensive menu. Great selections of perfectly thin-crust sharing pizzas were available for tasting. We tried the Grilled Chorizo & Buffalo Mozzarella with smoked chermoula dressing and the Roasted Mushroom & Pancetta with goats curd, parmesan crust, balsamic glaze and lemon zest; both were delightfully tasty. It was also brought to our attention that Li’l Darlin would be offering home delivery pizzas soon too.

Li’l Darlin also offer an amazing tapas style menu. Guests were able to taste some perfectly seasoned salt & pepper calamari, pork and beef meatballs as well as arancini balls filled with tomato, hersbs and fetta – all were thoroughly enjoyable and flavoursome. The stand outs for me were the mini grilled chicken burgers with their famous chilli sauce as well as their freshly cut tomato, basil and mozzarella bruchetta.

Live entertainment was provided with performances from DJ duo Dem Foxes - Rochelle Fox and Demi Bryant. Other media identities present included Simon Hancock and Tully Smyth from Big Brother 2013.

The ambience at Li’l Darlin is a culture-cool and comfortable one. It’s inviting, and a perfect place for someone looking for a quick cocktail catchup or a delicious tapas style dinner after work.
