What music or artists inspired you?
It’s been a long journey and I’ve listened to countless artists along the way. Big highlights for me have been Ben Harper, The Cat Empire, Jeff Buckley, Paul Kelly, John Butler Trio, Gilberto Gil, Djavan, Ben Howard, Audioslave

How did you get started?
I’ve always been a musician, I come from a musical family. I started playing in punk bands when I was younger and then became more interested in acoustic roots music. I studied guitar performance with the great Jim Kelly and from then on I haven’t really looked back

How would you best describe your live show:
Intimate, engaging, subtle, happy, dancey, feel good, upbeat, solos, moving

What shows do you have coming up?
A one man band national solo tour around Australia in Sep-Oct to promote the release of Be it .
Keep an eye on Facebook for more dates.

Tell us about your latest release:
Be it is a four track EP that I recorded this year with Phil Stack (Thirsty Merc, James Morrison). I wanted to choose my best songs and make something upbeat, yet still highlight my conscious songwriting sensibilities.

Where can I get your music?
ITunes, CD Baby and directly from me at shows.
