How did the band get started?
We debuted at the 2010 Dreaming Festival at Woodford to fulfil a booking from Alf and Mark’s previous acoustic roots band. Alf and Mark wanted to create a ‘new blues’ sound based on original music and obscure covers. Alex joined in 2011 and quickly added the essential bedrock of a blues beat.

How would you best describe your live show:
A bombastic, blues driven wall of sound… fresh, funky, full.

What shows do you have coming up?
We’ll be launching our debut EP in August.
Keep an eye on Facebook for more dates.

Tell us about your latest release:
Our debut self-titled EP was recorded at Tall Poppy Studios in Salisbury, Brisbane. The EP showcases our new blues palette, from up-tempo original blues to dirty blues-pop to our swampy retro take on alternative country and blues classics
