The star of the red carpet was Chinese music superstar LeeHom Wang (pictured above) with stars JJ Lin, Eason Chan, Penny Tai, Jolin Tsai, Karen Mok, Lala Hsu, A-Lin and Janet Hsieh. K-Pop girl group SISTAR released their latest summer comeback track and EP SHAKE IT! at their 2015 SISTAR Premiere Showcase "SHAKE IT!" at the SMTOWN@coexartium venue in Seoul. The members of SISTAR performed all 5 track on the EP and guest rapper Giriboy appeared to perform on "Don't Be Such A Baby". The AU Review and Hello Asia presents Korean ska band Kingston Rudieska performing at the K-Pop Night Out showcase at the Fountain Stage in Clarke Quay, Singapore for Music Matters LIVE. Kingston Rudieska is one of Korea's oldest and most loved ska bands with over 10 years experience in the Korean indie scene. They have performed all over the world with their fun filled ska set.
While Thursday at Music Matters in Singapore belonged to the Koreans and Friday to the Australians, on Saturday, it was Taiwan's turn, with the event Bravo Taiwan showcasing three fantastic acts from the country: ECHO, IO and MJ116. Hello Asia! headed along to Singapore to enjoy the annual K-Pop Night Out as part of Music Matters Live!. This year, the event focused less on K-Pop and more on the indie music coming out of the region, with electronic outfits IDIOTAPE and Glen Check shining at the event. It was a huge night for Australian music in Singapore when the annual Aussie BBQ - put on by the fine folks at Sounds Australia - took over the Beer Market in Clarke Quay on Friday night. Ten artists from around the country made up the night, kicking things off early with Melbourne's Dru Chen before introducing us to the likes of Angus Dawson and Alice Springs artist Dave Crowe, who performed his keys drenched material with a drummer.

An eclectic mix of over 20 artists from around Australia came together on Sunday in London for a massive day of live music - showcasing the finest in new, emerging and established artists from our region, many of whom were making their London debut at the annual Aussie BBQ event, held at the Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen on the day after The Great Escape. Saturday marked the third and final day of the 10th annual The Great Escape Festival in Brighton, England. Larry Heath was on ground at the event to discover new talent and witness some of Australia's finest bands in a unique setting. It is with this in mind that the day started at The Aussie BBQ, held along Brighton's beach at Concorde 2.
