P&O Cruises have just announced the history-making milestone in becoming the first cruise line to build a new ship solely for the Australian market. Weighing in at an incredible 135,500 tonnes and measuring at 323 metres long, this ship will be the largest ever to be based full time here in Australian waters. It will house more than 4,200 passengers in 2,100 guest rooms, which remarkably is double the current capacity of cruise vessels.
