MORE INFO ABOUT THIS ARTIST AND TOUR:
It's been a busy, tiring and rewarding month for Brisbane hardcore kids
The Amity Affliction.
Their new album
Youngbloods
was released on June 18 and debuted at #6 on the National Aria charts, gate-crashing the mainstream and rubbing shoulders with the likes of Eminem, Jack Johnson and Justin Bieber at the top of the pops!
Currently in the home stretch of a gruelling national tour launching
Youngbloods
at predominantly capital city venues across Australia, The Amity Affliction are looking to spread the pandemonium to regional fans hungry to see the Brisbane six piece, and are proud to announce The Anchors Tour!
The Anchors Tour will run from late August through to early September and take in 14 regional and suburban dates along the East Coast from Ferntree Gully, in deepest darkest suburban Melbourne, to Rockhampton in sunny Queensland and will include a majority number of all age events. Named after one of the bands most popular tracks to date, and currently receiving Triple j airplay, the Anchors Tour will be Amity’s Australian curtain call for 2010 as the band prepares to launch their UK and US campaigns at the end of the year.
Currently playing to mostly sold out rooms with capacities from 900 to 2,200 we suggest you get in quickly, because like the Youngbloods Tour, these shows are expected to sell out.
