After just 20 minutes, tickets to Passion Pit’s show at the Prince Of Wales on August 3 has completely SOLD OUT. Never fear though, they have added another show at the Prince on August 4. Tickets to the Sydney show are still available.
Boston’s Passion Pit are back after a riotous start to the year as part of the Big Day Out line-up. What began as a Valentine’s Day gift for a girlfriend has now become a gift to the masses with this boiling pot of giddy, electronic, indie, pop causing a stir at every live show.
With hooks that nip at your heels and choruses that burrow into your brain, the big beat soul popsters will return to Oz, led by singer/songwriter Michael Angelakos’ funk-fuelled falsetto, for this year’s Splendour In The Grass Festival.
Chaotic, oddball and impossible not to dance to, the 5-piece will also play two side-shows in Sydney and Melbourne this August. There’s no doubt their magnificent mish-mash of kaleidoscopic soundscapes and cascading dance beats will make it feel like summer all over again.
