MORE ABOUT MIDNIGHT YOUTH:

Midnight Youth, who released their debut single, ‘The Letter’ in Australia last year, will release their debut album ‘The Brave Don’t Run’ on May 21 through Warner Music. The album was released in New Zealand last year and debuted at #1, with ‘All On Our Own’ being the #1 most played song on radio for 12 weeks.

The band will head out on a national tour at the end of May with Birds Of Tokyo!

To date, Midnight Youth have spent a busy six months touring Australia playing over 40 dates across the country, including festivals such as Come Together in Sydney, Sounds Like Spring in Brisbane and the inaugural One Movement conference in Perth.

In addition the band performed in North America at the acclaimed SXSW music festival in Austin (Texas), with extra shows in New York and Los Angeles at the famed Viper Room. Midnight Youth were also selected by Australian rock legends INXS as their New Zealand support act on their last tour. The band were so impressed by their talent that they later proclaimed the band to be ‘One of the best they had played with in Australasia!’. They also recently achieved platinum status for ‘The Brave Don’t Run’ in New Zealand and performed to over 450,000 people across the country over Christmas 2010 including the Big Day Out Music Festival.

‘The Brave Don’t Run’ was recorded in New York and was produced by Terence Dover and Auckland’s Andrew Buckton.

‘All On Our Own’ is at radio now. ‘The Brave Don’t Run’ will be released on May 21.
