After a short, sharp national tour throughout July, leaving a growing legion of rather amazed fans in his wake at a string of sold out venues (as well as supporting Mumford and Sons at their sold out Sydney shows), Matt Corby is proud to announce that he will be returning to Melbourne and Sydney for two special event shows in October.

The shows will coincide with the release of Matt's second EP, 
Transition to Colour
, on October 8, and serve as a taster for a broader national EP tour later in the year, as well as Matt's 2011 scheduled debut album.

Landing at the Northcote Social Club in Melbourne on Wednesday 13 October and moving to Melt Bar in Kings Cross on Thursday 14, fans can expect to see a young artist fast gaining a reputation as one of the most impressive and original live talents in Australia. Matt will also be inviting several special guests along for both evenings to ensure that these will be shows you won't want to miss.

Transition to Colour
will also herald the first release by the Communion label in Australia; the brainchild of Ben Lovett of Mumford and Sons fame. Communion has grown to become one of the UK's hottest indie labels and live nights and has since expanded into Sydney this year.

Matt signed to the UK label earlier this year and will be spending much of September recording his debut album in London. Communion Australia is excited to announce Matt Corby as its first Australian release.
