Armed with his most extensive and eclectic collection of guitars, diesel is about to hit the road for his 7 AXES TO GRIND national tour.

Over the years this multi ARIA award winner has explored many string instruments, even co-designing the ‘diesel mini’ for Maton Guitars, and through these numerous explorations the inspiration for many of diesel’s works have emerged.

And now for the very first time, diesel will shine a light on the origins of these instruments and the unique role each has played in the making of his music. 

So, saddled up with a voice that is timeless and his much loved “family” of guitars, diesel brings it all to the stage for what is sure to be an insightful and entertaining night, showcasing this journey man of modern music.

You might also be keen to hear that diesel has just emerged from the recording studio where he laid down 18 tracks in just 8 days in a spontaneous expression of his most strident guitar influences (Jimi Hendrix, Neil Young, B.B King to name a few).

The as yet un-titled album is slated for an early release in 2011, so stay tuned for more details…
