M. Night Shyamalan heading to Australia for new film The Visit

Exciting news for fans of terror and suspense, Universal Pictures has announced Oscar nominated director M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense, The Village, Signs, Unbreakable) is coming to Australia to introduce his new thriller The Visit.

Starring Australian rising stars, Olivia DeJonge (ABC TVs Hiding) and Ed Oxenbould (Paper Planes, Puberty Blues) lead as brother and sister in the terrifying new film and will also be on the promotional tour.

The pair are sent to their grandparents’ remote Pensylvania farm for a week long trip in this terrifying story, which is also captured on their camcorder and video sessions to their mother (Kathryn Hahn). Shyamalan reignites his flame for horror, as the elderly couple are involved in something deeply disturbing and the children see no chances of them going home, anytime soon.
