Darling Harbour will transform into a winter playground for July (Sydney)

Following last year’s success, Darling Harbour will once again turn into Sydney’s “winter playground” for 2016’s Cool Yule, an event that runs from 2nd to the 17th July, during the winter school holidays.

When Darling Harbour transforms into a winter wonderland, visitors can meander through an bewitching frozen forest, do a couple of rounds on the ice rink or enjoy some ice-skating performances, form snow angels and catch the breathtaking fireworks display.

At the ice rink, you can either chill out on the sidelines or join the action on the Cool Yule Ice Rink, presented by Nova 96.9, with their Learn to Skate lessons.  The Snow Pit offers the perfect opportunity to experience a winter like they do in the Northern Hemisphere.

The Frozen Forest area is a haven for families – take advantage of the Frosty Fiction and Fun storytelling and activities organised by Monkey Baa Theatre Company – a good chance to develop a child’s inner thespian.

It runs from Saturday, 2nd July to Sunday,  17th July, from 9am – 10pm.   Whilst entry to the Cool Yule is free, tickets for the Cool Yule Snow Pit, Cool Yule Ice Rink and Learn to Skate sessions are on sale now.
