The Preatures, Seekae and more win at the 2014 FBi SMAC Awards!

The 2014 FBi SMAC Awards went down overnight at Carriageworks in Sydney, celebrating the musicians, artists, performers, restaurants and events who've repped for the city brilliantly in the last year. Forming any city's creative hub and maintaining a vibrant and inclusive culture is a task in itself, but as the SMAC Awards have shown year after year, Sydney has always had a good network of creatives striving to make the city a place you want to go and a place you want to stay.

FBi Radio today announced the nominees for the 2014 SMAC Awards, celebrating Sydney's music, arts and culture industry for its 7th year! Recognising musicians, artists, restaurants, events and performers who have stood out in their artistic and business endeavours in Sydney in 2014, the SMAC Awards once again represent a diverse and incredibly talented bunch of trailblazers.

Sydney arts and culture celebrated at the 2014 SMAC Awards!

Sydney's creative and artistic hive was celebrated at the 2014 SMAC Awards, held at Carriageworks. The impressive (again) event featured performances from Gang Of Youths, Brendan Maclean and Thundamentals, while some excellent individuals from the fields of music, film, visual art and food were recognised for their contributions to the industry as a whole.

2010 SMAC Award Winners Announced

Last night, the third annual SMAC Awards were announced at Darlinghurst's National Art School. The event celebrates the best in arts and music in Sydney, thanks to FBi Radio. Cloud Control swept the awards with three wins (if you include best on screen), but the guys from GoodGod Small Club took out the major award... read on! And congrats to the winners.
