the AU interview: We get to know The London Souls (New York)

Last July saw The AU Review venture to the Quebec City Summer Festival in Quebec, Canada where we caught up with New York based outfit The London Souls. Having just performed, Chris, Tash and Stu talk about a scary incident during their show, appreciative Canadian crowds, the history of the band and what’s next for them on an international scale.

Is this the most affordable festival in the world? Meet the event where Lady Gaga and Billy Joel play for less than $8 a day.

When it comes to festivals in Australia, if it's not a rare free event, it's expensive. Though sold out, Splendour in the Grass this weekend, including camping, was over $450 for the three day (and a bit) event. Not including flights, transport and day-to-day costs, like $8 beers (I can only assume).

Le Festival d'été de Québec Review: Phantogram + Electric Youth - Impérial de Québec (07.07.14)

Before they head down under, however, they are touring North America, and it just so happened that we were in Quebec City at the same time; the band playing as part of the city's Summer Festival, Le Festival d'été de Québec. Naturally, I had to head along and see what all the fuss was about.
