An ‘anything goes’ festival; with five stages emitting a mix of dub, indie, soul and techno. Held at GC Parklands, similar setup to BDO, only half the size, Good Vibrations 2011 was a testimony to the fact that good things can come in small packages!

After taking a bit of time to walk the festivals grounds and familiarise myself with the layout I took a seat on the grass at mainstage to see local boysCity Calm Down do their thing. Although only playing to a few hundred people at best they certainly weren’t lost for energy.

A smaller-than-usual crowd took over Centennial Park in Sydney yesterday for the annual Good Vibrations Festival, as a light rain did little to dampen the spirits of punters ready for some pretty fantastic music.

This morning, Jam Music announced that Aloe Blacc & The Grand Scheme will be joining the line up for the 2011 Good Vibrations Festival! This no doubt fills the gap left by Cee Lo Green, who pulled out of the festival earlier this year due to unexpected Grammy commitments.
