FUSE FESTIVAL

the AU interview: Annabel Weston of Archie (Adelaide)

Archie, another band on the 2012 Fuse Festival line up, took time to chat with me about their year so far in the lead up to their slot in the showcase gig. Unfortunately, everything that could go wrong a journo's audio recording went wrong, so here is what I managed to salvage.

the AU interview: Anthony Callisto of Lyla (Adelaide)

Local rockers Lyla have already kicked off 2012 with the release of their latest single, "Cadillac", at a launch gig over the weekend. Now, the band is set to feature along with many others at the Fuse Festival. I get in touch with guitarist, Anthony Callisto, to see how the boys fared after the launch party and what they have coming up as the Fuse Festival draws near.

the AU interview: Wolfgang Marwe of The Shiny Brights (Adelaide)

Adelaide really hasn't been seeing too much of indie stalwarts, The Shiny Brights, lately. Having taken a break from constant gigging late in 2011, the band decided it was time to change things up a bit and mature as a band. Before they perform their new material, as part of the 2012 Fuse Festival, the band's lead guy Wolfgang chats with me about what he and his mates have been up to over the past few months.

the AU interview: John Jakubenko of Red Ink (Melbourne)

Melbourne's Red Ink are one of many Australian bands to be showcasing in this year's Fuse Festival. As part of The AU Review's coverage of this year's musical hijinx, I caught up with the band's front man, John Jakubenko, to see what was going on in their camp.
