Armageddon Expo Christchurch set for largest convention yet!

It’s only been a few weeks since Armageddon Expo shot an arrow through the hearts of Wellingtonians with its Easter event featuring Marvel’s own Hawkeye, Jeremy Renner. But last week through the course of the week they teased and dropped guest names daily for their forthcoming Christchurch event and it’s set to be their biggest event in the city yet.

Instead of leaning in to one particular fandom the convention has opted for a lovely shotgun approach of getting stars from a huge variety of popular television shows. With Once Upon A Time gearing up for its last ever season, Jennifer Morrison is sure to attract plenty of fans. Whilst those wanting some devilish trouble can catch up Lauren German and Lesley Ann-Brandt from Lucifer.

Stars from the CW series Supergirl Mehcad Brooks and Katie McGrath, whilst fellow CW alum but on The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow and breakout film Love, Simon Keiynan Lonsdale will also be speeding in. Not to be outdone, Arrow is also firing in Echo Kellum and David Nykl onto the guestlist.

Game Of Thrones fans won’t want to miss meeting Daniel Portman (aka Podrick), and Smallville‘s own Lex Luthor Michael Rosenbaum, along with Star Trek: Voyager‘s Garrett Wang. Whilst voice actors Will Friedle (Batman Beyond, Kim Possible), Brad Swaile (Death Note, Gundam Wing), and also WWE icon Hacksaw Jim Duggan will also be on the lineup.

Armageddon Expo is New Zealand’s destination for all things pop culture, featuring a massive range of exhibitors and local artists selling their wares. As well as a hub for gaming and streaming with an interactive Omen by Hewlett Packard zone.

Armageddon Expo Christchurch: Friday 2nd – Sunday 4th June @ Horncastle Arena Addington.
Tickets and VIP passes are on sale now through Ticketek New Zealand, for more information check out Armageddon Expo’s official website or their social media channels.
