The line up for today's A Day On the Green at Bimbadgen Winery in the Hunter Valley has a stellar line up featuring a plethora of talented musicians. The venue appears to be practically sold out as there isn't much green left to sit on, the regular general admission punters always arrive early to grab the best position and the seated punters have arrived to catch all four bands. There are plenty of toilets, free water and huge merchandise tent to check out as well as the possibility of grabbing a food hamper or a glorious bottle of wine.

the AU interview: Scott Owen of The Living End (Melbourne) talks about Project 50.50.50 and the Green Day tour of 1995.

It seems like The Living End have been around for ages now but who can blame them? For a band that's so passionate at what they do, it's no wonder Scott Owen embraces every opportunity the band have taken that has lead them to their successes as of now. Looking back at their classic hit wonders, "White Noise" and "Prisoner of Society", it goes to show that rock and roll music never died; it was just reborn again to a band that knows their punk rock music, front to back.

Live Review: Elvis Costello + The Sunnyboys - Bimbadgen Estate, Hunter Valley (02.02.13)

Having spent the early afternoon watching the Weather Channel to ensure that Elvis would not become victim of the mud, I made my rather late appearance at Bimbadgen Estate in the Hunter Valley just in time to catch the most welcome return of the reformed Sunnyboys. The large crowd were enraptured, with the level that their music had warmed our hearts in the mid 80s clearly on show. Here's hoping that the reformation is not short lived.
