
Sydney Resolution Concert Series is thrilled to announce Sydney’s biggest New Year’s Eve party, which will be staged at Sydney’s Glebe Island overlooking the iconic Sydney Harbour on Saturday December 31st 2011. The inaugural Sydney Resolution Concert Series will feature international superstars including Jamiroquai, Culture Club and Pet Shop Boys, as well as Australia’s very own Guy Sebastian, Pseudo Echo and Lyndsey Ollard.
It has been some time since Dappled Cities convened for a series of Australian dates, and in order to satisfy both a curious public and road-test their forthcoming album, Dappled Cities have announced two very special headline shows in Melbourne, November 17th at PHOENIX PUBLIC HOUSE and Sydney, December 2nd at THE STANDARD.

Splendour In The Grass festival wrapped up at Woodfordia last night after three glorious sundrenched days of music, arts, discussion and sweet times shared with old and new friends.

Jimmy Barnes was taken ill around lunchtime today and visited doctors. Initial concerns that his problems may relate to his heart and may require hospitalisation thankfully proved unfounded. However, doctors have advised that he must have four weeks of total rest and recuperation.
Unfortunately this has necessitated cancellation and postponement of some solo engagements which he had planned between now and the end of August.
