Museum of Contemporary Art Australia to host major exhibition for renowned Japanese artist Tatsuo Miyajima


The Museum of Contemporary Art Australia (MCA) will be hosting an exclusive Sydney exhibition as part of the 2016-2017 Sydney International Art Series, presenting the public with a major showcase of renowned Japanese contemporary artist Tatsuo Miyajima, a man known for his immersive, technology-driven sculptures and installations. This will be Miyajima's first major solo exhibition in Australia.

The Museum of Contemporary Art Australia (MCA) have recently introduced another impressive Australian work to the MCA Collection, acquiring Square Cloud Compound (2010) by Sydney artist Mikala Dwyer, who also has gifted the museum with Spell for a Corner, a new multi-coloured wall painting.

Melbourne is getting the world premiere of Jurassic World: The Exhibition


In a major move for Museum Victoria, the world premiere of Jurassic World: The Exhibition will be taking a place at the Melbourne institution in March 2016, running until October before touring the world. The news was announced this past weekend by Minister for Tourism and Major Events John Eren who detailed the new immersive exhibition based the Steven Spielberg-produced Jurassic World, which has grossed $1.67 billion globally, breaking all types of records.

Each play is directed by one of the six directors who help to run the theatre and after they appeared on stage to speak about their play, three of the actors performed a scene in an impromptu and quite hilarious style.
