Six artists not to miss during Day Three (Sunday October 4th) of Weekend One at the Austin City Limits Festival

The final day of the first weekend of Austin City Limits 2015 wraps up with some exciting appearances from the realms of pop, hip-hop, Americana, blues and more. We've been bringing you our tips for the festival so far this weekend, click through to see who we'd recommend catching if you're out at Zilker Park this weekend or simply lining up some sweet live stream action from home.

Music Video of the Day: Years & Years "Foundation" (2015)

British-Australian trio Years & Years have released a new video for their tune "Foundation", a few weeks out from the release of their highly anticipated debut record Communion. Receiving its international premiere via Pitchfork, "Foundation" puts Olly Alexander's vocals more into the spotlight than before, while showcasing the band's ability to mix things up and stray from the path the poppy, melodic radio giant "King" had initially introduced fans to.

Album Sampler Review: Years & Years - Communion (2015 LP)

Note: The following review is based on an album sampler consisting of six tracks from the record.

If this sampler of British electronica trio Years & Years' upcoming debut album Communion is anything to go by, itis bound to be a cracker. Heading into this musical taste-tester I was admittedly hoping for more of the upbeat, radio-friendly vibe that lead single "King" brought because it is, quite frankly, a killer tune. I was very much surprised then when the majority of the six-track offering in the sampler were laid back and, in a stroke of genius, totally chill. Is this a bad thing? Absolutely not.

the AU interview at SXSW: Years & Years (UK) on airplay vs social media and breaking new music markets in 2015!

The final night of the SXSW Music Festival is upon us as I sit down with British trio Years & Years in the lobby of The Intercontinental for a chat. The band had at that point, battled their fair share of live show obstacles during the festival, but had been meeting expectations as one of the buzz bands of SXSW 2015. Later on that evening, they would bring it all home with a triumphant late night club set at the Empire Control Room.

SXSW Live Music Review: Neon Gold Showcase ft. MS MR, Marina and The Diamonds & more - Empire (21.03.15)

The Neon Gold label hosted its showcase at Empire on the final night of SXSW, taking over both the Control Room and the Outdoor Stage and bringing together some fantastic bands - both established and up and coming - from Australia, the UK and America together for one final night of fun chaos.

Sosefina Fuamoli's Picks: The Five Best Artists of SXSW 2015!

And just like that, as quickly as it began, we reached the end of yet another chaotic SXSW. With so many performances to filter and pick from over the past week, it's been hard to determine what has been classified a 'stand out' moment from the epic music festival. Between the four of us who scattered throughout Austin each day and night in an attempt to cover as much ground as possible, there were many memorable moments we all took away from the showcases we were able to attend (not marred by healthy amounts of tequila, of course) and below are just some of my choice artists who ranked highly this year.

Editor's Picks: Five Artists to Watch at SXSW 2015!

The SXSW Music festival is just around the corner and as we gear up for our annual trip to Austin, Texas, there have been some artists on the showcase line up who we're already pretty stoked to be looking out for. The event has long been known for being a platform for up and coming acts to draw in a larger fan base, to turn industry heads and to then go on to form larger international profiles for themselves and just by taking a sweeping look at the sheer amount of talent on the SXSW Music line up this year, we can safely say the class of 2015 is going to follow suit. Below are just five artists I'm going to be checking out in coming weeks...

Single Stream: Years & Years "King" (2015)

They've just topped the BBC's 'Sound of 2015' list and now, UK synth-pop act Years & Years have released a new single amid all the celebration, in "King". The band have been making good headway through 2014 after breaking through in 2013 with their Traps EP and more recently, touring with Sam Smith. Currently signed to Polydor, Years & Years are fast becoming a name known by many outside the UK as well, a young band whose live shows are now gaining a strong reputation as well.
