Lifted off their upcoming EP, the video for “Tall Stories” is a visually stunning multi-disciplsinerary piece, and certainly makes us keen for the new music to come from World’s End Press. Single of the Day: World’s End Press “Tall Stories” (2015)

After their last single “Spirals (Slide Away)” got a huge amount of airplay, World’s End Press have treated us with the follow up “Tall Stories”. An unmistakably club oriented track, “Tall Stories” is driven by an array of expertly crafted synth sounds working with a perfect combination of drum machine grooves and energetic live drums. This one is the first cut from the upcoming Tall Stories EP, a 6-track due for release on the 25th of September. Listen to the title track here:

Melbourne's World's End Press sign to new booking agency, announce "Tall Stories" single, EP and October tour!

Melbourne’s World’s End Press are without question one of our favourites here at the AU. Having toured Australia with Hot Chip, Primal Scream, Phoenix and Bloc Party, we're a bit excited that the band are hitting the road again this October to share their newly single "Tall Stories", along with news of a Tall Stories EP. The tour also accompanies news that the band have joined the family at booking agency UNDR ctrl, amongst artists like Roland Tings, Total Giovanni and Bag Raiders.

FBi Social to shut doors to make way for new 'Bandroom' - venue to host final party on November 1st!

What started as a three month pop up venue, FBi Social wasted no time in becoming a venue bands of all different calibres would perform at. Opening three and a half years ago, the Sydney hotspot has hosted more than 1000 local artists and have had more than 40,000 people through their doors to party. The time has come for them to shut their doors next month though, with the owners of the Kings Cross Hotel and other venues, Solotel, set to reopen the space as The Bandroom. The new venue will continue to host the best local and national talent, as well as offering bands a place to rehearse and play.

The Smith Street Band, Joelistics and more heading for NYE on the Hill this year!

Just when you thought NYE on the Hill couldn't get any more rad, it goes and does just that! The festival which is already set to host the likes of Jackie Onassis, The Bennies, City Calm Down and more fantastic Australian bands, has announced another slew of amazing artists confirmed to head to 'The Farm', just outside Loch Village in Victoria this NYE.

DZ Deathrays, Ernest Ellis, Awesome Tapes From Africa and more round out the Secret Garden Festival's lineup!

The sold-out Secret Garden Festival has dropped a second artist announcement that is sure to make people either ecstatic that they snagged tickets or devastated they missed out, one of the two. There's just under a fortnight to go until these bands come together for one hell of a party and considering the initial lineup was already ridiculously good, it's no surprise that the event organisers have gone and upped the ante with this second lot as well.

2013 has been a big year for World’s End Press. The band released their critically acclaimed and Australian Music Prize long-listed debut LP, which also snagged triple J’s feature album upon release, along with Album of the Week at both FBI and RRR. They toured with Hot Chip and Bloc Party, headed to the US for their own headline shows and dates with Cut Copy, and recently smashed their sold-out album launches in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney. To top it all off they tore apart the Supernatural Amphitheatre at the Meredith Music Festival last week.

World's End Press lead the huge second artist announcement for the Mountain Sounds Festival!

We were excited when the Mountain Sounds Festival was first announced, but today as the second artist lineup has been dropped, we can guarantee that the buzz is ramping up! Leading the second artist announcement is Melbourne's World's End Press, who've been kicking ass at festivals near the end of 2013 and more recently, the Australian Open. Mountain Sounds will be showcasing a stellar lineup of artists, food delights and more on March 15th, so be sure to grab tickets from!

Four local Melbourne musical acts will perform on stage at the NGV’s Great Hall as part of the 'Friday Nights at Melbourne Now' series, beginning on Friday February 28th. All events will be free, but please note that capacity is limited.

World's End Press announce new tour dates for February!

World’s End Press had a whopping great year in 2013, and now they’re starting off 2014 with a string of new tour dates! The band will perform in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne before moving on to support Phoenix on their upcoming Australian tour.

The Mushroom Group presents a killer lineup of entertainment for the 2014 Australian Open

The Mushroom Group is going to be bringing some stellar entertainment to tennis fans next year, as they curate the lineup for the Australian Open next January. Taking place on the Grand Slam Oval in Melbourne, the artists set to perform represent some Australian legends as well as some of our best young acts on the circuit today. International guest Pete Tong will be over for the event as well, representing for BBC's Radio 1.
