Summer Flake releases album and announces national tour

Adelaide low-fi indie chanteuse Summer Flake has released her debut record titled You Can Have It All. With industry praise from Faster Louder, The Music, Who The Hell and Polaroids of Androids, she will be taking her jams nationwide on a tour filled with new support acts for every city.

Rain was pouring down in bucketloads outside, but the Oxford Art Factory still managed to attract a fair crowd for the All My Friends FBi radio fundraiser on Saturday night. Despite the dismal weather, the vibe was warm and welcoming upon my arrival, helped along by the gesture of a free bottle of Coopers green… As a Melbournian, like a lost bird away from my Southern nest, I was looking forward to the night ahead, where I hoped to be introduced to some of Sydney’s fine local talents.

Dig It Up! Brisbane and Perth sell out

The Perth leg of Dig It Up! The Hoodoo Gurus Invitational has now sold-out. The Perth event which also features Redd Kross & The Fleshtones, joins the Brisbane Dig It Up! in selling out its allocation well in advance of the show date.

G3 add show in Newcastle

The three wise men of modern day guitar mastery Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Steve Lukather will be bringing their holy gifts to the blessed land of Newcastle for a special one night only in March.

Performing under the name G3, audiences will be dazzled by what is set to be a night of eletrifyingly brilliant displays of guitar skilfulness. Fans will be treated to individual sets by each guitarist with their own band before joining Satriani and his band on stage for an all-star jam session.
