BIGSOUND Live: Highlights of Night Two - Part Three (10.09.15)

Tired Lion at BIGSOUND Live

My second night of BIGSOUND brought just as much variety as the first. With so many artists to see it’s always a matter of ‘trade-offs,’ but here are just a few highlights from the night!

Gang of Youths, Holy Holy, Timberwolf & more featured on first official BIGSOUND artist announcement!

BIGSOUND has named the first 50 artists for the 2015 live program and for another year, Brisbane looks to become a buzzing hive of excellent live music in September! BIGSOUND Live sees 14 music venues through the Valley taken over by some impressive line ups of bands from around Australia and abroad over two nights for what has become Australia's biggest gathering of industry and music fans. Last year's BIGSOUND program was hectic, showcasing some diverse and brilliant talent - both emerging and established - and this year is going to be no different.

Big Scary and more added to the final lineup of the Panama Festival.

The latest addition to Australia's ever-growing crop of boutique festivals, PANAMA, has just gotten bigger! The Tasmanian festival, set to go down on March 8 and 9 this year, is going to be quite the intimate and secluded affair, as far as festivals go. With only 1000 tickets being made available, PANAMA is set to offer punters quite the unique experience; spending two days with some amazing acts, pop up cabarets, storytelling sessions and more!

Live Review: Tiger Choir + Brothers Hand Mirror + Cat Cat - The Workers Club, Melbourne (07.06.12)

I love the variety of acts one encounters in the Workers Club bandroom. In the span of one evening you can take in some jangly lo-fi indie, white boy rap and experimental synth pop.
