The Wombats announce Groovin' The Moo sideshows in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide.

Liverpool trio The Wombats will soon be back on Australian shores in April/May, performing at the Groovin The Moo Festivals and their own headline shows around the country.

Their ridiculously catchy single ‘Let’s Dance To Joy Division’ (winner of the 2008 NME Award for Best Dancefloor Filler), and #12 position in Triple J’s HOTTEST 100, saw their debut album ‘A Guide To Love Loss And Desperation’ become an anthemic summer album.

In amongst their festival performances, they will play at the The Tivoli Theatre in Brisbane on Tuesday 3 May, Enmore Theatre in Sydney on Monday 9 May, Melbourne’s Palais Theatre on Wednesday 11 May and The Gov in Adelaide on Thursday 12 May. Tickets for headline shows are on sale Tuesday 22nd February.

The band’s eagerly anticipated second album, This Modern Glitch is out in April and contains last year’s UK Top 20 single “Tokyo (Vampires and Wolves)” and new single “Jump in the Fog,”
