Sideshows announced for Splendour in the Grass

With this year's Splendour in the Grass now sold out, sideshows will be the only chance you have in catching some of the world-class acts which make up the fabulous line-up. While many of the big-names are exclusive to the festival, there are quite a few exciting sideshows for concertgoers to sink their teeth into. All tickets on sale 9am AEST, Friday 9th May. Album Review: The Strypes - Snapshot (2013 LP)

Listening to The Strypes debut album Snapshot, I can't help but agree with Simon Reynold’s point in the introduction to his book Retromania that “We live in a pop world gone loco for retro”. Here are a group of Irish teenagers ranging in age from 16 to 18 playing a brand of music that wouldn’t sound out of place decades earlier, and with a skill that far belies their youth.
