The Kings Cross Hotel hosted one of the hottest nights of live music all week in an optimistic showcase of what Sydney has to offer at Fbi Social nights.
The Ghosts opened the night with their thumping sound. Immediately they rivalled the two floors of loud dance music below them and won outright. Their energy wasn't contained to the room, they were just as wild and unpredictable as their sound.

It had been eight months since the Sydney band, The Paper Scissors were in Melbourne. In October 2010 they held a single launch for “Lung Sum”, which Jai said was probably too premature in retrospect.
In an AU interview Jai explained that the Melbourne weather owed it to them at the album launch at The East Brunswick Club. Although the weather held out for them, I felt anxious in the lead up to their set time about the tiny crowd.
With the release of your album “In Loving Memory” and your Australian tour throughout June, what sort of preparation is The Paper Scissors going through?
We have been rehearsing a fair bit. We are just getting ready and trying to get people along to the shows. I have been organising posters and adds for the radio.
Ah so you're the man who does behind the scenes organising?
Yep yep I am. The other guys help a bit but i'm kind of doing the most of that sort of stuff. But we are all getting psyched up for the tour.
Where did the album name come from?

The Paper Scissors are a rocking Sydney band that have created an album that is probably the most musically interesting album released this year thus far.
