The Morrison’s annual Crab Carnival is returning to Sydney for its third year

The Morrison’s 2016 Annual Crab Carnival is back for its third year, which will see Executive chef and owner of The Morrison Sean Connolly deliver crowd favourite crab dishes, as well as a handful of new additions.

This year’s event will introduce Salt & Pepper Crab Legs and bite sized Crab Hush Puppies, alongside some old favourites like Soft Shell Crab Burgers, Chilli Crab Linguine and Chilli Mud Crab. The event will also feature “Steam Pot Thursdays” and “Crab and Lettuce Taco Happy Hour” every day of the festival between 6 and 7pm, with $5 tacos and a wide range of drinks available.

Making the month-long event even more exciting, Hermit Crab Racing will be taking place every second Tuesday (April 7 and April 21) at 7pm, where each hermit crab will be numbered, with The Morrison holding a $5 sweep. A number of competitions will take place throughout the festival, giving attendees the chance to win heaps of prizes.

The Crab Carnival will be held in Sydney at The Morrison and will run from March 25 until April 22. Head here to see the full menu and further event details.
