The Queenscliff Music Festival has set its sights on achieving something like an Olympic Gold status with their second line up announcement! I hadn’t been to The Prince Band Room for years but was eager to reacquaint myself with a place that holds a lot of good memories of bands of yore and fun party nights. I arrived on this particular Friday with the hope that the night would also be memorable for the right reasons. The Joe Kings were part way through their set when I found my way into the venue. There wasn’t the usual queue outside and the room itself was a quarter full, (or ¾ empty if you’re a glass half empty type of person) and I was relishing the thought of having Jeff Martin almost all to myself.
