Newtons Nation and bandit.fm Records are searching for an unsigned artist to perform at Newtons Nation Festival on Sat April 28th April. This competition closes TODAY at 5pm with the winner being announced tomorrow. Just in case there were any of you out there still thinking of entering, we thought we'd have a look at your competition and have found five songs which we reckon are in with a pretty good shot (in no particular order).

On Friday, I headed along to Super Liquid Christmas, an independent music festival held at The Annandale Hotel in Sydney. I was especially looking forward to Lovers Jump Creek, an incredible live act that I'd caught at the Lovejam Music Festival earlier in the year.
