2013 Rottofest announces lineup!

Rottofest, Rottnest Island's annual comedy, film and music event, has announced who will be stopping by for their 2013 edition! On September 7 and 8, more than 30 comedy performers and 20 music acts will take to the stage across five venues on the island, making the 2013 Rottofest the biggest yet.

Live Review: The WAMi Awards and Closing Party - The Bakery, Perth (02.06.12)

San Cisco swept the board at last night’s WAMi Awards in an evening hosted by Triple J’s Dom Alessio and TV personality Claire Hooper, with the band winning all eight of the awards they were nominated for; including Most Popular Group and Pop Act of the Year. Another of the evening’s big winners was Abbe May who finished the evening with six awards including Most Popular Solo Artist and Rock Act of the Year.

Live Review: Big Day Out - Perth (05.02.12)

Now I have never been to a Big Day Out before, so I can’t exactly jump on the criticising bandwagon and complain about how it’s changed. I will say that compared to the other festivals that I have been to, it was a little on the smaller side; with most of the stages packed into a small section of the foreshore.
