The third day of the Falls Festival sees bands such as Ash Grunwald, Cosmo Jarvis and Oh Mercy in the Grand Theatre and Boy and Bear, The Flaming Lips and Hot Chip on the Valley Stage. The Theatre reaches capacity for Flume later in the evening. Our photographer on the ground, John Goodridge was there to bring us some photos.

The Melbourne Zoo is about to get wild in a whole other way, with the announcement of their 2013 Twilight Zoo Program, with tickets available now. Kicking off on January 25 with ARIA Award winner Missy Higgins, the Zoo Twilight Program, sees the zoo put on a live music event every Friday and Saturday night through until March 9th.

The multi-talented musicians that make up Melbourne soul-funk group The Bamboos will be on their way to Lorne to perform at this year's Falls Festival at the end of the year. I chat with the band's main man and guitarist, Lance Ferguson, about the hectic year The Bamboos have had with the release of their latest album Medicine Man and what they're looking to towards next year.
