Tabu is the third feature by film critic-turned-director, Miguel Gomes. Named after the F.W. Murnau movie of the same name, it too uses the headings of “A Paradise Lost” and “Paradise” to breakdown the different parts of the story. Tabu is ultimately a unique and rather bizarre tale that is softly shot in glorious black and white.
