Halloween might be over but Tales In Space are keeping things spooky with the launch of their new EP ‘Ghost In The Room’

Electronic and sample-based post-rock darlings, Tales In Space announce the release of their sophomore EP ‘Ghost In The Room’, out through Other Tongues on 19 November 2010.

Fronted by wunderkind indie producer, Luke Bert (Art vs Science, Dappled Cities), the Sydney-based three piece Tales In Space also features the drumming expertise of Allan K (Dappled Cities) and bass/synth aficionado, Pieman (yes, that’s what they call him).

‘Ghost In The Room’ follows on from the highly acclaimed self-titled debut which was unofficially released in early 2010, the same year the band toured the US, achieved high rotation on Australian airwaves and solidifed the beginnings of a strong following in the Australian indie scene.

Having already been compared to the likes of Cut Copy and The Polyphonic Spree, the outfit have shared stages with Bertie Blackman, Parades and Deep Sea Arcade, to name a few. With an epic live show and a sound that embraces samples, loops, radios, keyboards and triggers whilst still maintaining a solid foundation of traditional drums and guitars, it’s no surprise that Tales In Space are being called ‘out of this world’.

Following their recent sell-out show at Spectrum in Sydney for the launch of their new radio single Work You Out, the band will celebrate the release of ‘Ghost In The Room’ at the Annandale Hotel on 11 November, with support from local Sydney talent Mushu, KIDS AT RISK and The Khanz.
