With good reason there has been a punk revival of sorts. Bands that have been around for many years but haven’t ever toured Australia have finally made the journey to connect with fans, inspire up-and-coming musicians and show them that ‘punk ain’t dead’. This night at the Northcote Social Club was a punk feast, with three local acts and one, long-awaited, international on the bill.

This September, Australia will be welcoming the arrival of a defining name of 1980s British Punk Rock, Subhumans. This will be the band's first ever Australian tour and features the 1981 line-up of Dick, Trotsky, Bruce and Phil that recorded their debut EP Demolition War in 1981 and classic albums such as The Day The Country Died.
