Electronic Music Conference 2014: 6 lessons from EMC Day One

The annual Electronic Music Conference (EMC) is a massive confluence of the world's leading EDM artists partaking in not only discussions on the history and future of electronic music and it's associated issues, but also inexpensive and accessible showcases of new material, old material, and everything in between. Day one of this conference kicked off in Sydney's Darlinghurst yesterday and brought with it discussions on topics like dance music's mainstream appeal, the mechanics of running a label, and how rising stars can sustain their buzz. Festival Review: Future Music Festival - Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne (10.03.13)

God bless the singlet-making industry, because it seemed the whole customer base was at The Future Music Festival this past weekend. An insane amount of arms and biceps were on display for everyone to see, and I wouldn’t be too surprised if any other strays from a muscle convention during the week popped on by. The music was probably a secondary thing.

Fear not! Good Life festival has announced it's line up and on Saturday 8 March at Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne all the teenagers will be getting some live music action while the old fogies miss out.

The line up for the 2013 Future Music Festival has been released and as it promised, it's Dead Set Awesome.
