Album Review: Tinpan Orange - The Remix EP (2014 EP)

Big Scary and more added to the final lineup of the Panama Festival.

The latest addition to Australia's ever-growing crop of boutique festivals, PANAMA, has just gotten bigger! The Tasmanian festival, set to go down on March 8 and 9 this year, is going to be quite the intimate and secluded affair, as far as festivals go. With only 1000 tickets being made available, PANAMA is set to offer punters quite the unique experience; spending two days with some amazing acts, pop up cabarets, storytelling sessions and more!

New Music Video: Spender ft. Gotye "Hotel Home" (2013)

Spender and Gotye have come together in making some cool music in "Hotel Home". Wally de Backer's signature vocals are of course, wonderful, while the Spender-penned and produced number is a lovely standout itself. The clip is simple, yet effective; taken from Spender's acclaimed Modern Pest EP, we think "Hotel Home" is a winner for both artists involved.

Live Review: Ella Hooper + Hailey Cramer + Spender - The Worker's Club, Melbourne (09.05.13)

All grown-up Aussie rock starlet Ella Hooper launched the second single from her upcoming solo album, In Tongues, to a packed-out crowd in Melbourne on Thursday night. For those who who grew up listening to the grungy rock Hooper produced with her brother Jesse in their band Killing Heidi, it’s hard to forget the image of her as a 15-year-old with dreadlocks, an eye brow ring and a much-adored midriff. For this reason the nation is so eager to see what she's capable of these days, having ditched the grungy look and without her brother by her side.
