After only making his debut in Australia earlier this year through a series of NYE festivals and, UK grime emcee Skepta has announced an epic return to this side of the world with seven shows across Australia and New Zealand. The man, who just released his long-awaited 4th LP Konnichiwa, has marked a monumental push forward in the grime scene that is steadily making a comeback around the world, amassing an impressive fan base to feed off of his irrepressible live shows.
The energetic rapper will be kicking off in Melbourne on September 14th, following with shows in Brisbane and Perth before heading off on over to New Zealand to performed in Dunedin, Christchurch, and Auckland. He’ll then finish the tour by flying back and popping off in Sydney’s Enmore Theatre.
The amount of hype surrounding Skepta, bolstered by his association with Drake and Kanye West, will see this tour sell fairly fast so jump on it when tickets go on sale from 10am local time (to each venue) on Thursday 26th May.
