the AU review presents UK artist Seth Lakeman performing the track "Portrait of My Wife" - LIVE, exclusive and acoustic on the fiddle - in Australia for Byron Bay Bluesfest 2014 and a run of East Coast dates. The song comes of Seth's new record Word of Mouth which is available now. His Australian tour dates are below:

Ahead of his appearance at Byron Bay Bluesfest in April and a short promotional tour we caught up with award-winning and Mercury Prize nominated English Folk musician Seth Lakeman to have a chat about his latest album Word of Mouth, his experiences touring Australia, and his involvement in the award-winning collaborative project The Full English.

Seth Lakeman is an Irish folk musician. With a 4 piece band including acoustic guitar, double bass, drums & he was on violin and vocals. This is their first time in Australia. Carus Thompson is an Australian folk musician who has played at Bennetts Lane once before. His five piece band included pedal steel guitar, drums, double bass, acoustic guitar and his brother on backing vocals.

Look at that poster. Do you see that lineup? That's possibly the best lineup in 2012, and we aren't even in that year yet. But the organizers behind Byron Bay Bluesfest simply aren't content with words like best, fantastic, mind blowing; they just keep on adding to the already bumper list of names.
