Bluesfest announces the reunion of Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, plus more on their second artist announcement!

Well, this is pretty large, as far as additional line up announcements go. Bluesfest has always been known for bringing the artist announcements strongly, but their second round of acts revealed for the 2015 festival has gone and confirmed that once again, Bluesfest is set to be one of the festivals you're going to want to be at. Leading the charge is the first global performance of the reunited Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, with their Bluesfest show being their only Australian gig for 2015.

Tonight, the 2014 Byron Bluesfest drew to a close, bringing five days and nights of world class music to an end with the final headline duties falling on the capable shoulders of the Dave Matthews Band, Gary Clark Jr and Elvis Costello and the Imposters on the main stages, while Watussi, Ray Beadle and Playing For Change ensured the party continued on the smaller stages too.

Including some of the country's best folk, reggae, soul, groove, blues, hip-hop and dub artists as well as some special international guests, this Bluesfest announcement is sure to push the festival towards total selling out point.

Today Bluesfest, Australia’s multi-award winning 5 Day Festival presents its 1st artist announcement for Easter 2013 (March 28 – April 1) held in beautiful Byron Shire, at its dedicated event site, the Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm.

It’s the earliest announcement in the history of Bluesfest – 6 weeks sooner than usual and it marks the beginning of FOUR exciting announcements to be released in the upcoming weeks.
