Glastonbury Festival announces 2015 lineup: Kanye West, Courtney Barnett, Pharrell Williams and more

UK festival, Glastonbury, has issued their first massive line up announcement: for the second consecutive year, the lineup will include Australia’s Courtney Barnett, who will be joined on stage by Foo Fighters, Kanye West, Florence and the Machine, Pharrell Williams, Alt-J The Moody Blues, Hozier and many more. The event, started originally in 1970 only a day after the death of Jimi Hendrix, will take place this year near Pilton, Somerset, England on June 24-28. Sheppard, Dan Sultan, 5SOS and Sia lead 2015 APRA Music Award nominations with multiple nods!

Today, the 2015 APRA Music Award nominees were announced, with some Australian songwriters emerging as particular hot contenders, nabbing multiple nominations. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the likes of Sia and 5 Seconds of Summer jumped off the page, both with three nominations to their name, while the Brisbane pop juggernaut that has become Sheppard lead the pack at four nom's.

New Music Video: Pharrell Williams "Happy" (2013)

Pharrell Williams has gotten on the interactive music video train, with possibly the best video clip of 2013. The 24 hour video clip for 'Happy' (featured on Despicable Me 2) is a world first, presented as an interactive clock, with a diverse cast of characters dancing along to the song. Amongst the dancers are Steve Carrell, Jimmy Kimmel, Jamie Foxx, Kelly Osbourne and the minions from Despicable Me. 'Happy' is from Williams' forthcoming full length album, due for release in 2014. Hello Asia! News: Pharrell Set To Perform At BLOHK Party 2013 in Hong Kong!

On Saturday 7th December, Hong Kong will play host to one of the largest one-day events in Asia. Taking the concept of the block party (which originated from the streets of New York City) and tailoring it to suit the tastes of Hong Kong – the inaugural BLOHK PARTY 2013 will take place at the West Kowloon Cultural District (Waterfront Promenade).
