Secret Garden Festival announces full line up for 2015!

The Secret Garden Festival recently dropped the news that it had completely sold out all tickets for the 2015 festival, which was only testament to the event's continued popularity and faith from the loyal public who've backed it for so long. Today, the Sydney organisers dropped the full line up of artists set to perform and man, is it impressive. Over 60 bands and DJs will play over four stages at Secret Garden, promising to be the biggest outing of the festival yet. Both international and Australian talent will be represented well at the event, so if you've managed to nab yourself a ticket, you're definitely in a lucky crop!

Parquet Courts set for headline shows next March!

Returning to Australia next year i , who wowed crowds on the Laneway Festival earlier this year and have been making a mark for themselves as dynamic live performers on international stages as well. Their Sunbathing Animal record, released this year, has drawn considerable acclaim and to follow up, the band have announced a new album, Content Nausea. To be released under the moniker Parkay Quarts, the album will be released digitally on November 11th through Remote Control, as well as on vinyl in December. All of this before the band return to Australia for a much-aniticpated set at Golden Plains in March, along with some newly announced headline shows!

Once again, Aunty Meredith delivers! The 2014 Golden Plains Nine line up just had its reveal online, with another cracker line up of Australian and international talent set to head to the Meredith Supernatural Ampitheatre in March 2015! the AU interview: Andrew Savage of Parquet Courts (New York) talk new album "Sunbathing Animal" and Splendour in the Grass!

Brooklyn, New York-based indie-rock quartet Parquet Courts will return to Australia to play Splendour in the Grass, having been here as recently as January for St. Jerome's Laneway Festival. With a new album – entitled Sunbathing Animal – about to be released, their show promises to be heavy on new material, with the band's trademark energy and witty lyricisms being certain to feature. We talked to singer-guitarist Andrew Savage to find out the band's plans and why the 'slacker' label needs to be taken out of circulation.

The Festival Diaries: Austin City Limits (ACL) 2013 Day Two ft. The Cure + Kings of Leon - Zilker Park, Austin (05.10.13)

Having moved past the jetlag that delayed my first day of the annual Austin City Limits event, I kicked into the festival grounds early to catch Parquet Courts opening the second day, well ahead of the anticipated headline performances from The Cure and Kings of Leon.
