Byron Bay’s Parkway Drive have now added an additional show to their upcoming All Aussie Adventure tour which kicks off on Wednesday, June 15th. The extra show is planned for Chelsea Heights on July 4th at Chelsea Heights Hotel, the second show at the venue on the tour.
The upcoming tour will be the first time in over three years that the band returns to some of the towns previously visited in the Australian East Coast region.“We have amazing memories of many, many, many wild shows, plus its always great to see how things have grown and changed with time and see the local musical talent that has sprung up since we’ve been away,” the band says. The tour will begin in Cairns, and continue down the coast through towns such as Townsville, Toowoomba, Sunshine Coast through to Bateau Bay, Wollongong, Albury and towns in between wrapping up the tour on Sunday 3 July in Frankston.
The All Aussie Adventure tour was named by Justin Fimmel after the naming of the tour was opened up to fans to make suggestions. Lead vocalist Winston Gall says, “We had so many great entries. Many hours of laughs, which was what we were hoping for. We ended up going with “All Aussie Adventure” because it fit the tour for all the bands playing, Parkway, Make Them Suffer and the local bands at every stop. Plus we all love Russell Coight so that gave the entry the winning edge.”
