FBi's Sydney Sounds Like: Choose Your Own Adventure

FBi Radio are an imperative cog in Sydney's music scene. They facilitate great new bands, broadcast brilliant music, and hold rocking parties. Sydney Sounds Like: Choose Your Own Adventure, at the Factory Theatre in Sydney this Saturday, was a prime example of one of these gigs.

Sosueme's 4th Birthday - Oxford Art Factory, Sydney (28.05.11)

To celebrate their fourth birthday, Sosueme did what anyone four years old would do and had a party complete with popcorn, fairy floss, hats, animals, DJs, booze, and four of the best bands in Australia at the moment all in Oxford Art Factory – an overgrown child’s ultimate dream.

Two Door Cinema Club + Parades - Enmore Theatre (07.02.11)

Having had their debut album, Tourist History, out for almost a year now, Two Door Cinema Club are rapidly becoming one of the world's favourite indie-pop bands, with their infectiously cheerful jams and some of the most addictive choruses I've heard in recent years. May I add, every single song on their fantastic debut is a standout – a rare feat for any band.

We were originally going to do a top 20 tracks of 2010, but the AU review crew delivered such a diverse range of tracks - in such a close race - that we had to expand the list to the top 40!

Ernest Ellis and Parades tour cancelled

The joint headline tour for Ernest Ellis and Parades has unfortunately been forced to cancel.  This is due to a medical condition that Roland ‘Ernest Ellis’ is suffering in his hearing which - if exposed to loud noise for an extended period of time - could result in further complications and permanent damage.
