Sydney festival One Day Only announces line up

Sydney's One Day collective have been dominating the local party scene with their One Day Sundays constantly sold out and traveling the country to meet high demand. They've already had to move venues because of the success of ODS, and now they will beefing up the concept even more by turning it into a boutique festival dubbed One Day Only.

Vivid Live Review: Red Bull Music Academy presents Elefant Traks - Sydney Opera House Studio (31.05.15)

You wouldn’t think of the Sydney Opera House as a venue for an underground hip-hop party on a Sunday night, but that’s what Elefant Traks brought to the Studio as part of Vivid Festival this weekend. The Sydney-based record label presented a mix of live performances and DJ sets from old school to original hip-hop, which gave the night a sort of festival feel... crowd members holding GoPros and wearing felt hats contributing to that.

Festival Review: Groovin' The Moo - Maitland Showgrounds (09.05.15)

With the recent flooding that has affected the Hunter Region for the past month, enthusiastic punters should have arrived at Maitland Showground with their wellies pulled up and ready for mud. The flooded paddocks alongside the highway just out of town bode for a messy occasion but it was a pleasant surprise to find upon entrance a solid dry ground with nary a fleck of mud in sight...

Photo Gallery: Groovin' The Moo - Bendigo Showgrounds (02.05.15)

Groovin' The Moo came to Bendigo for another year, bringing with it a brilliant array of talent both from Australia and abroad. From Northlane to Tkay Maidza, through to the Pierce Brothers and the Hilltop Hoods, there was enough music at the showgrounds to keep the party going well into the night. Kimberley Salmond was there for the AU and brings us these shots!

Music Video of the Day: The Meeting Tree Featuring Adamio Hyde "r u a cop?" (2015)

Two members of Sydney hip hop collective One Day, Joyride and Jackie Onassis' Raph Lauren, have formed The Meeting Tree, a duo that seems hellbent on taking the best parts of contemporary hip hop, trap, and pop and using them to dominate the scene. Their horn-heavy, refrain-heavy single "r u a cop?", a collaboration with Adam "Adamio" Hyde of Peking Duk has been given a video fun and confusing enough that it's our Music Video of the Day. Watch below

The sun came out to plat on the second stop on the Groovin the Moo festival with a lineup featuring Wolfmother, Charli XCX, You Me at Six, Sticky Fingers, One Day, Tkay Maidza and more. Stuart Sevastos was on the ground to capture the highlights of the day.

Festival Review: Groovin' The Moo - Oakbank Racecourse (25.04.15)

It quickly became obvious that if you came to Groovin the Moo in Oakbank expecting to your carefully planned, Coachella-ready festival outfit snapped by a photographer, you were probably gonna have a bad time. Recent wintry and rainy weather stuck with the hills throughout the day and night, turning the Oakbank Racecourse into a sludgy mud pit by the time people started leaving/sliding out at the end of the night. It's testament to the line up GTM brought through this year, that people stuck it out and didn't give up; rather, embracing the mud and the rain and getting as chaotic as the elements did.

The first leg of the Groovin the Moo festival was held at Oakbank, in the Adelaide Hills. Despite the steady rain which turned the horse racing track into a mud pit, everyone was in good spirits. A great range of music, from Wolfmother and on the main stages. to RL Grime and A$AP Ferg in the Moolin Rouge tent, there was something for everyone. Our photographer John Goodridge was there front and centre to bring you these photos from the day.

Watch Sydney hip hop crew One Day dominate Triple J 'Like a Version' with Scribe's "Not Many"

Seven-deep hip hop crew One Day are unstoppable as they lead up to their highly anticipated 'Many Hands' tour, a follow up to their successful 'Mainline' tour last year. All One Dayers - Joyride, Horrorshow, Spit Syndicate, and Jackie Onassis - appeared on triple j's Like a Version this morning to rip through an energetic, harmonic cover of Scribe's "Not Many".

Live Review: Drake + 2 Chainz + P Reign + One Day DJs - Allphones Arena, Sydney (25.02.15)

Photo Credit: Nathan Atkins for the AU review

When Drake was announced as the headliner for this year's Future Music Festival we all knew that there just had to be some sideshows. It's his first time down in Australia, and demand for Drake is only getting higher. The length we waited for him to perform in Australia was rewarded with extra effort on everyone's behalf, and a set list that is far better (and longer) than the recent ones he has been performing. But first, let's start at the beginning.
